Plenty of us up in the NW Bill but I have only heard of one or two from Launceston. If you are up this way we are always keen for a paddle.

Nice work Bill, sounds like you may have been the first to sup the famous "Tamar River Wave of Poo"'my father use to tell me stories about this when I was a kid, how in launceston on a Sunday morning about 9.30 the effects of drinking boags beer the night before would kick in and everyone would make a rush for the dunny, which in turn would create a wave that would run all the way down the Tamar and out to sea, no need to go to Indo to surf some tidal bore when we have our own wave of poo on our back door step, though you would have to be careful this time of year as you wouldn't be able to see it coming out of the fog at you, but I'm sure you could smell it coming.
