Hey all, camping at ledge over weekend, never actually been in there.
anyhow, read on wannasurf (yes i take all wannasurf with a grain of salt over the shoulder) ther is a couple of waves on the reef out th back. anyone know of them or surf them?
Was thinking of paddling out to them tomorrow morn, or just go to back beach.
forcast is 1.5m, might be a generous forcast. not sure will be enough for it to be breaking.
would prefer to go to lano reefies but dependant on wife n kids n time free...
any info be sweet.
cheers

there are no waves at Ledge Point - well, none that I have seen over the past 30 years or so.

Weather forecast is very consistent at Ledge. After 10am every morning - blowing a gale from the SW!!

Buy a windsurfer or kite board instead!

It's off to the shop Friday morning for weekend supplies so we don't have to leave the house. Put the kids bikes, skateboards, scooters, surfboards out the back, take the keys out of my car and lock the doors and windows.
Wait for the dust to settle on Monday after the blow in's blow out
Hot tip: only SUP at Yals

If I feel adventurous send me a pm and we go check some spots out that don't hold crowds.
Sail/kite if an option I'll be more tempted.
Let me know
By the way I'm only having a dig
