Expert SUP'er told me one of the first rules is never drop the paddle.



Might be an exception for this poor dude.

Yep, that's a killer.

Lost my paddle in the surf a few weeks ago and couldn't see it anywhere, so I thought if I stand up on the board in between waves I might see it easier as I had no chance of seeing it laying down.

It worked, spotted it and got it back all OK. Whew, didn't really want to tell the Minister of Finance that I just lost $400.
