if your after a minion i would maybe have a talk to casso, or call simon at deep and have a chat as they seem to be the most progressive with this design, i would also recommend Dan(DTM) don't think he makes minion style boards (might if you asked) but he does make some very nice performance boards

Ive delt with Deep a few times and as have friends. Service is 100%. Going back soon for another.

i know both brands well and Gulliver is doing a good trade on their boards as has DEEP. Both are pumping out good quality boards.

Gullivers' vanguard was designed by Aaron Bitmead ( a Molokai winner and local surfer/waterman)

Distance shouldn't be an issue. I buy from Qld regularly. Service from deep is excellent not familiar with the other minion (etc) makers.

Hi Supdog, I'm currently in the process of getting a custom box SUP made by Gulliver at the moment. Just for the record I have no affiliation with these guys.

The guys are all great to deal with. I flew up to the Goldy from Sydney to demo the orange one ridden by Porchey in the vid. Damien Gulliver was very accommodating and let me demo the board all day.

Azza the shaper has also been great and really knows his stuff particularly for this style.

Not taking anything away from the guys at DEEP because this forum is a big supporter of them.

For me I just wanted to try something a little different. Will post photos when I get mine soon.

I've had 10 DEEPs over the last couple of years, and still have 6 at the moment. Never had a problem with quality of construction, customer service or any delivery issues. They go pretty well too. - Indicative of the current Aussie champ recently jumping on board (excuse the pun).

They do weekly deliveries down the east coast and generally take about 3 - 4 weeks from putting in your order (my #11 board has priority though ).

Hey casso, what's the next board? Are you getting another minion with different dimensions?
