I do and don't understand how people keep leaving gear behind or forgetting to tie it down on their roof.

Let's be honest our sport isn't cheap.

Now if I were to give you 2 wads of cash every time you got out of the water the first being $500 (rough value of a paddle) and the second $2000 (rough value of a board) would you be likely to put it on the roof and not tie it down, leave it on the grass etc?

I left a leggie in 62macs car once, never to be seen again!!
