Hey All,Friday afternoon 19/9 I went for a paddle in talle creek. I stupidly beyond words left my paddle in the carpark behind the SLS tower there. It's a QB kahana 90, blue edge all carbon...This is a super long shot but i'm hoping someone has turned it in or may have seen it.
CheersJosh

Have you asked at the Neptune Lifesaving Club as this might be a place where someone would hand it in. There is also an outrigger club that has some gear set up on the grass there that may be worth checking with.

Hope you find it.

Hey Herbert,I tried the rec centre and did ask some clubbies there at Neptune and they said nothing had been handed in. I'll give them a ring later today. I didn't think of the outrigger club! Thanks for the suggestion, i'll try them too...Thanks again!

thanks mate, I will try to ring a few local cashies too. I know that supposedly cashies is supposed to cross check all items they get with missing item police report registry... Whether that happens or not is another story.

granted I'm fairly cynical, but I wouldn't trust them over the phone. Walk in and ask them if they have any paddles, don't tell them yours is missing straight up…..

nah, totally get it, i'm much the same. She did say there is a 7 day clearing period for new items... so it's 7 days tomorrow. Will be visiting a few cashies around the place I think. The thing that really annoys me was obviously my stupidity of leaving it, trust me i'm pissed off. But I think now it's more that you expect people to have the same level of integrity and honesty as you, to hand it in somewhere, which isn't always the case I see now... Especially considering it had a sticker on it of where I work - easy to google that and maybe follow up.

However, could be lucky I guess, still a bit of hope there.Cheers
