As embarrassed as I feel, I have posted this as a last resort to find my SUP. I was hoping my efforts of putting Lost Sup papers in all the letter boxes in my neighbour would have gotten my board back but it hasnt.

On the 20th of March around 5:30pm I was about to grab a bite to eat with my wife so I proceeded to remove my board off the roof of my car from the surf I had earlier in the day. I removed the straps but got distracted and forgot to remove the board. I was gone for 40 minutes max and on return I checked my phone and noticed I had a text from 40 minutes earlier from my neighbour across the street saying he thinks my board wasnt strapped down. To my shock I went out to the garage and sure enough my board was gone. I drove all around my neighbourhood looking for my board but it was no where in sight. I would think it would have come off the roof of the car within 100m of my house. I live on a quiet street and thought it might have been left on someones lawn hoping the owner would return to grab it.

The board is a 2010 Starboard Whopper with the full camouflage deck grip. I just fitted new blue fins so they could still be on it. I lost it in Medowie which is in Port Stephens so the board could be used in the Nelson Bay area or Newcastle area. If people in those areas could keep a look out for it, It would be much appreciated.

Hope you get it back in one piece. Don't feel too embarrassed. I forgot to strap down my new 14' Glide that hadn't even been in the water. Drove about 20mtrs and noticed the nose moving a bit too much. Panick struck me instantly and I immediately thought what a D*** Head. Luckily I wasn't moving too quickly. Good luck with it. If it is in your local area surely somebody would have it. cheers

I wasnt hesitant to post the board as lost as I knew you'd see it lol. Im gutted Jas, the board was getting better and better in the surf. Just changed all the fins too and loving it.

Ive already received a message from a forum member with a possible sighting in Newcastle so I still have hope it'll turn up one day. I had a Lost sign in the local hot chip shop and noticed someone took it down. I posted another one up. I cant help driving around my neighbourhood everyday now just looking inside all the open garages.

does it still have the hawaii sticker? if they remove that there is that small mark on the tail to identify it...you got the pics still?

Yeah, still has the Hawaiian sticker on it. I still have the pics, just need to post them. Did you ever write down the serial number?
