Life was a bit cruel.....waited for tide to come in a bit. But wind went onshore so a bit lumpy and bumpy. Only caught about 4 waves.
But only caught 4 waves the day before also.....so at least I was consistent

A long weekend here (Waitangi Day). Yesterday was at town beach.....the usual size shrinkage by the gopro.
Friday was back at Makorori "Red Bus".......very small but nice and warm and a pretty early morning sky

Thanks for the footage Gizzie - brings back fond memories of a summer spent living in a bus out at Makorori in the 70's when you could camp out there free. Scored some good waves at the point on and off over the years.

Enjoyed the tour, nice spot outside with a big channel.
How is the shore break you've gotta get through?

Thanks for sharing - they looked like pretty nice waves. And that is 8 waves more than I got this weekend. My part of Vic has not been cooperating lately...

Thanks Giz, nice sessions.

I see that your not big on brand loyalty.

Cant be too warm though, despite your comment, still in steamers.

Usually a very easy paddle out slight channel .....often don't even get your hair wet even when a bit of size
Only a 3/2 steamer.....more to protect against rubs and scrapes and to keep impact vest snug than for cold
am sure it was towball spotted wearing a steamer at Byron ? :)
