Anyone interested in looking at a "SUP only" boat charter to the Maldives around April / May 2010.

Liquid Destinations owner - "Louis" is a ken SUP, and offers a complete surf / video package for all his tailored trips. Would be cool to surf clean, uncrowded waves.

Have a look at this link - www.liquiddestination.com

If your only doing a 7-10day trip, i would suggest you just go to the Meermu and Central atolls.... Southern atolls takes atleast a day steam by boat or you have to get another flight from Male down there.... also depends where you go I guess.... also beware of the captain asking for a fuel surcharge to take you wherever you go... be sure everything is covered in your trip!

I'm looking at Mentawai's around mid to late March. Juszt before PEAK season starts.

What sort of prices you been getting GarethG?

Hey Gareth
Sounds a great idea. I actually run a Stand Up Paddle school here on the Sunshine Coast and am right into it, go the SUP! I am just finalising the schedule for the season next year as we will be placing the boat right down South until late April. I will be in contact about the options.

The major problem we have had this season has been huge variations in pricing of flights, anywhere between $1100 to $1900. So it makes it very difficult to quote for next season. Also the U.S dollar has has some huge rises and falls. As high as 98 cents and as low as 55 cents.

I will be in contact shortly to discuss this trip as i will be amped to get 10 SUP's over there and go to some of the waves that are more tuned to riding SUP's

I have attached a photo of a wave i surfed by myself for over 3 hours one morning it was an awesome day

Thanks
Louis
