Anybody in Melbourne-Surf Coast area got a 9'5" Mana I can try out? I still enjoy the 9'6" WAA, but it just isnt fun in the wind (100kg).
I typically use my Naish 11'4" when the wind is up, and it is an awesome board for fing, but getting better performance out of the surfing aspect of the board. I really like the thinner rails on the 11'4 and find it great for catching waves and it actually turns well for a board of its size. By "thinner rails", I am actually referring to the Step-Deck on the 11'4 which results in fairly thin rails........
I think the volume on the 11'4 is around 180L (any Naish guys can confirm this?) and the smaller Mana is 190L, so I am inclined to think that the Mana isnt going to turn as well simply because it has more volume over a smaller area (feeling corky).
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Oh yeah, I'm up for a mid-week surf this week if anyone wants to hook up. In Melbourne during the week, but can easily slip away---then off to Abay for the weekend.
Thanks Guys,

Phil,
Thanks for the heads up! Yeah, I saw that Jeremy is over.........Unfortunately we had some "water infiltration in the storms last week and will most likely have to move out of our house while the damage is repaired---so a bit flat out at the moment.
Saying that, I could probably slip out for a surf this week during the day if anyone is interested?
Thanks for the heads up about Rich. I will try and arrange to borrow the board for a couple of sessions.
Cheers
Ronnie
