Had about 8 surfs since stepping off the 9'8" superfish. The superfish served its purpose, but the Mctavish takes it to another level.Had about 5 surfs as a thruster and the last three as a quad.Obviously more drive with the thruster set up but the quad went unreal in waist high waves.Less area in the nose makes it easier on takeoffs on the windy days.Overall I love the board it goes really well for me, my weight is 90 kgs,and the board has the same float as the superfish maybe slightly less stable.Love the board, thanks bob you have done it again.

Hey bud,
I'm considering one of these and I weigh about 87kg
Have you got any pics of the beastie. I've only seen the plan view pics on the GSI site, wouldn't mind seeing the rails / rocker / bottom of the board.
How does it seem interms of strength / durability ? Will it last?
How's the deck grip?
How's the bouyancy, can you kick turn it without sinking / wobbling too much I imagine she'd be pretty bouyant but always hard to tell without stepping on the thing.
