You guys should try a Billy Tolhurst longboard. Best longboard I ever surfed was a BT 9'1. I've never surfed a MacT though, so I can't say it was better. If BT ever brings out sups i'd have one in a flash.
Yep, I took the PSH gun for it's maiden run on fathers day morning, then came back down with my son for a body bash in the arvo. Had the gun out at Cooly a couple of times this week, it's just too straight on the northern beachies.

Just tried the 9'6"; 3-4 surf, had it for about 1 hour, loved it! I weigh 185 lb., been paddling for 3 years in the surf. The board is very stable and predictable, used a center fin and 2 side bites as opposed to the quad set-up. The board carved well, rebounded well off the lip, and paddles solid. My mind want's to get the 9'0", but with a bum left knee I'll go for the comfort of the 9'6" and stay out longer. I'd like to try the 9'0" as well, but it wasn't available.
