My mate Mick rang this morning and said he had a leave ticket for the day, and would I be interested in a quick Green Island trip.
One hour later we were watching one of the best waves on the south coast do its thing at 4 foot plus.
Wetties on and out there.
6 surfers in the water soon whittled down to 3 then 2 then none.
Mick and me had Green Island to ourselves.
A 3 hour session at a quality wave by ourselves.
I've paid thousands to travel overseas and not surfed waves that good uncrowded.
Do you know how many waves you can catch in quality waves on a SUP.I do now.
2 waves in each set. Every set.
