Dave and I are doing another down-winder tomorrow..

The forcast is a 30 knot North wind and we plan to head off from St Kilda at 10 am and paddle down to Sandy.

It should take between an hour and an hour and a half.

I will be on my Naish Glide.. and Dave will be on a new Joe Bark 14'er.

So... It will be interesting to see if size does matter..

Anyone else keen?

It's a loaner from a workmate who brought it back with from the US.

Dj, i keen to see the difference. the clide should still keep up as they are both flat bottoms. So dave will be the one to beat for the SHQ race with that beast.

Dave will not be using that beast in the SHQ race.. So we still have a chance..

BTW.. Which board do you think was faster today?

Looks like you should have stayed out a bit longer and caught the 30 knot SW back again.

Dave was just given the board to try and test out.. I belongs to a friend.

BTW...Dave paddled the SHQ corse the other day in calm conditions and knocked over five minutes off last years winning time..

He will be using a Glide for the race and I'm hoping we can make it a Glide one-two..

What board do you think you will use?

wow, five minutes if the time. thats quick. not sure what im going to paddle yet. i might just have to come for just the fun. its one i cant miss.
