Anyone paddle in the Maribynong before...anyone keen to give it a try

I am barely keen to paddle in the bay knowing that the Marybynong flows into it!!!
google this "Maribyrnong river pollution" and see what is returned :(
Damn pity we don't have some more paddling waterways eh Tux :(
