lol.
Forget the Seabreeze forecast, just got this from the legend John Smythe...
Good pre comp sou'easter om Wednesday will be good for kiting and sailing the bar…but you're not allowed to practice.
South swell for the Wednesday with enough to start the event on Thursday with head high waves and light nor'east cranking bear- aways. Swell dropping off a bit on Friday with stronger blasting nor'east
Greta waves for SUP s both mornings but mind your manners at the early at the Bar as it will be the first head high the locals have seen for months and they'll be thirsty…..
There will be some crankers on Main Beach to keep SUP s busy also.
By Saturday I'll be over it so couldn't give a hoot……………………….but it will blow and there'll still be smaller clean waves on the open beaches for the earlies…maybe try spot X again for SUP s if they can get Steve P to show the way again…….
Other good news is the ocean has warmed to a balmy 18C which feels like the tropics after 12 to 14C water for some time and the whales have all gone south.
Apart from that the BBQ will crank six foot and offshore all day every day…coffee will be running hot off the barista, with homer made cakies for the early and the Corona tent will go off for the happy hour from noon till 6
And that's just the day time stuff
