I said I would start a new thread on my recent trip to South Africa, so here goes...

I have a few pics in and once I get some more in I will add them in.

A few of the core New Pier (that's in Durban) guys were just starting up SUP in RSA the last time I was there in July 2007. I think Jason Ribbink was the first one to bring in a SUP (it was a Laird I think) but Alwin VB would't have been too far behind.

Anyway it has not taken these guys to really start charging. Jason is a renouned all round waterman and charges anything he surfs (paddle in, tow in, SUP, Longboard...). He is a regular at Cape Town's notorious Dungeons and has had many seasons there. This year he started charging on the SUP too and I will post these pictures when I get them.
