I got boarded twice by the Uli, but when Old Mate dropped in on Lummers and then told him to get off the wave at Pambula it was pure Gold to watch.

I think the term is hosed down when you double hacked and almost drown in buckets.

As far as im concerned girls are allowed to drop in on me open slather, i really dont care I will hoot and cheer you on , i think its great to see them out there out numbered 30 to 1.

Never woke up early to surf with too many people at Mambo, doesn't help I don't actually own a board yet (still deciding). Surfed the bar on Friday with a hand full or so.

Mambo wasn't good for the pocket book as I went from not wantings a SUP to craving.

11' Simon Anderson
10'6" Simon Anderson
10'5" Starboard
9' Starboard (the really wide one)

I didn't get to try the Paddle Surf Hawaii's or the DMB Boards

My Favorites where the 10'6" Anderson (rode at the bar late on Friday) and the 10'5" Starboard (rode it on the Sunday morning in the buffer zone) - I didn't mind the longer boards but the shorter ones (mid 10's) were more fun - I didn't like the 9' Starboard.

Still want to try out the PSH 10'6" WAA, Naish 10 Mana but I'm worried I'll find it too corky, DMB 106, DC 10, Coreban 10'6" and last but not least the Jimmy Lewis Hanalei 10'8". Looking for something around 10'6" x 30" and 160 litres in epoxy construction.

Back on topic does any one know where to find any pictures taken of the SUP'ers from the Friday and Sunday of Mambo of the people surfing around the Buffer Zone?
