I have a few more ideas for exploratory trips around the bay.
1. A paddle from Sorrento, explore the area near the heads. Have to watch the tides for this one.
2. Paddle from Queenscliff, could go into Swan bay, or Port Phillip bay to Pope's Eye, and go snorkelling.
3. Barwon river mouth, paddle up into Lake Connewarre, using the tides. Finish up right outside the pub!
I'm sure there's plenty more good places to check out.
