Took the scenic path back this time..

I was on my 14' Glide and PT was on his new 14' AllStar.

Note to myself.. Try and keep my vids under 3 minutes in the future..

Any specs on the bike? it looks pretty light, a friend of mine got a fold up but it was very heavy.

My folding bike is a terd.. er I mean Tern.. btw I think a Tern is a bird.. Maybe like an oragami bird.. It's one of the better folding bikes and it's aloy and pretty light.. Also strong with quality hinges and parts.. Tern bikes can be expensive but mine is pretty much the bottom of the range and cheapest.. No gears and only a back peddle brake.. I took the front brake and mud guards off to keep it as simple as I can.. Because the bike track along the shore is mostly flat I don't really need the gears or better brakes.. Folding bikes have been big in the US for quite a while (espcially for those who fly on planes a lot) but I think they are fairly new to Oz.

You're right DJ, a Tern is a kind of bird. that is a great bike and aptly named Tern.....but more about the Tern, the Arctic Tern in particular......the lucky little buggar gets 2 summers each year on its 70,000Km round the world migration tour, one was recorded traveling from northern England to Melbourne (may have landed on your home sand) 22,000km in 3 months.
Amazing bird.

Thanks.. When you end up with more than two hours of footage and you go through it and go chop, chop, chop.. and then end up with about 10-15 minutes of good stuff it's then hard to do more chop, chopping to bring it down to just a few minutes because lots of good stuff gets left out.. Glad you don't think it's too long..
