foamballer said.. Such good wind... so close to shore... no ground swell... If it was me, I wouldn't be able to get to sleep at night, just thinking about the wind the next day.
I really admire how you guys seem to take your time on the beach getting prepped. I'd be beside myself wanting to get out there !
Great video as always DJ - I don't always comment, but I watch them all

Thanks.. btw.. Interesting moment at 2.52 when my fin developed lift at full speed and bucked me off.. I wasn't off balance and I didn't catch a rail..
The new Naish fin is very good for 99% of the time.. and it's much better than the old fin.. but IMO it's not swept back enough for high speeds.. It's great for tracking across the swells and the wind.. and it does that better than most fins..
In the same way pointer fins on windsurfers don't like to go off the wind at speed because they cause the board to rail up.. and they make jibing tricky.
I've found long angled weed fins also develop lift.. Swept back dolphin shaped fins seem to work best at high speeds.. I need to get my Aircore fin out and try that again when it's honking.
