Friday Down winder hoping for epic conditions. 20 to 25 knots straight southerly as forecasted on BOM. High tide lunch time.
Anyone keen for a long run around midday let me know. Two options.
Northside - Shorncliffe to Scaborough 16-18km
Southside - Cleveland to port of bris 18-20km.
I'll be doing Northside run definitely even if it's on my own if someone is keen coming up from godly for South side instead we can do that.

Saturday looks just as good too though I'm working.

Could be a good move swell size down here might be a lottery.

ended up doing a nice long run in the bay the other day. 37.5km and some of the best runs I have seen. Tide and wind were perfect for the run with a nice straight shot across the bay.
Cleveland to Scarborough.

Hey foam baller, was an awesome run, and basically jumped on and just pointed straight to Redcliffe... Got a bit messy in the last 5km, but was well worth it. Haven't paddled since June, so was a good one to get back into it...and back on the water.
Normally go Cleveland to the port. That's 18km and would always leave 30 mins to 1 hour before high if possible.
On this run we left 2 hours before high. Main reason is purely water level...plenty of mud walking if u don't leave at the right time at the finish points. Always do the runs with South or south easterly winds.

might be a few punters from the goldie this Friday. big winds and maybe big swell points to the bay
