I must have been thinking about my mother when I chose my user name 'DavidJohn' because she's the only person that ever called me that.. [it's my first and second name].. btw She passed away about 15 yrs ago from breast cancer..

I'm glad that I chose that name because every time I see it I think or her.. I still miss her heaps and I thought about her today while paddling in the glassy waters at my second home [St Kilda marina] on Mothers Day.

I'm sure that most of those who still have their mum's will not realise just what special people they are until they're gone..

Happy Mother's Day..

My mum died from breast cancer in 2006. I agree with your sentiments. It makes you appreciate simple things more and makes you grateful for the life you have from the mum you had.
Looks like it was a nice activity for quiet reflection.

My Mum is 90 & has a great zest for life.
Laughs when I talk about SUP & loves to see me fall in, love it :-)
Nice reflective vid with the go pro battery generating most of the heat on that run :-)
