Yesterday it was cold..make that freezing cold..and also overcast and windy Winters day here in Melbourne.

I went for a paddle anyway..I was keen to try my new Casso sucker that I got on ebay and see how my little camera fits onto it.

My camera is not waterproof..and I had no float..So if the sucker unsucked it would sink like a rock..Still it was worth the risk I thought.

My camera has a broken screen so I could not tell what the angle was like or even if it worked until I got home and connected to my laptop.

It's nothing special but it's not bad for my first sucker cam vid..

How good is the Casso Sucker Cam!? Casso needs to claim it hehehe
Did you know you can delete the background noise DJ?
So the splashing form the paddling cant be heard and just the groovy voice of The Don

Nice vid DJ

Personally I like the sound of the water under the board and the gulls! It keeps it real and adds to the 'we're out there with you' experience

Thanks

I reckon that turned out pretty good DJ. What program did you end up using to convert and edit it.

I reckon Casso needs to take the sucker cam to the inventors.

Beautiful footage, DJ. Well done.

Glad the Crocs got a staring role.

You are dancing with the devil by not using a waterproof camera though. You got a droplet on the lens at 2:55 - it won't take long for little splashes like that to ruin your camera. Please be careful.

The "Casso Sucker Cam" - I like the sound of that ... my claim to fame. It's absolutely fantastic to see the footage you guys are producing from a seed I might have planted. I'm so proud of you all (he says with a tear in his eye). I'm very pleased I could help out and can't wait to see lots more footage as we move into summer.

I'd love to see some surfing footage now DJ ... but please - with a waterproof camera.

This is my Casso SuckerCam (without my camera inside the case)...and I'm hoping to get some sufing vid tomorrow..Piont Leo is looking good.

I wonder what a view from the tail would be like?..I just need to get a float in case it falls off.

Oh, so you're Hong like a Fu Feng Dong too.

Nice set up. Glad to see the waterproof housing.

You may want to try tilting the camera up a little bit so you get more of you and less of the deck of your board. Just my opinion.

Can't wait to see the surfing footage.
