With only 10-20 knots it was only just enough wind for a downwinder.. but it was still great fun..

Ha.. yeah you and I know that yellow is the faster colour.. .. and we both know it's 90% the paddler..

Interesting to watch how the boards are working.. In particular the nose on that new Falcon.

I was watching that... the fanatic looked pretty corky (probably wouldn't if I put my weight on it), and that nose looked like it would never go under. I wonder if it really catches the side chop though? The piercing bow and flat deck concept of the new glide appeals to me more - hopefully it works.

Nice work with the video DJ.

Careful foamballer, they're starting to sound like boats, bows and decks!

In the paddling at night thread they're putting navigation lights on them!
Then of course the story of the broken rudder during the Fig2Fig
and I remember some guy talking about needing to stand further 'aft' in another thread.
then there's Downwinder with his 18' board which is the same length as my fishing boat.

Yeah... I reckon they're starting to sound like boats.

Thanks.. I think that Falcon actually goes very well.. You just have to be good enough on it to prevent the ' boof' ..

No.. It's not my new GS.. I think they are due any day now.

Those watching my DW vids and learning from them (btw I'm still very much a DW learner) notice I'm getting my feet closer to the centre line of the board more often.. and at times have my heels almost touching together.. It feels really good.. It's something I've been working on.. and I've noticed Jeremy Riggs in Hawaii doing it in his vids.. I'm hoping to start cross stepping forward and back instead of shuffling and being on the centreline is much more important when doing that.. It also lets you move more without upsetting the balance or glide of the board.

Sorry to the lady in the red shirt for hitting you in the boobs with my camera.. I forgot it was sticking out so far when I walked past..
