Here's my new PSH gun. Only surfed it a few times so far, but so far, I'm LOVING IT! I'd like to thank Austin at PSH Oahu for hooking me up. Thanks again Austin. I also "borrowed" Casso's theme to pad my board. Thanks braddah Casso!

I'm still playing around with fin setups but if anyone has any recommendations I'd like to hear them. BTW I'm 5'7 175lbs.

Nice looking board Gotwaves. I like how you have extended the pad design to the front of the board

Very nice work. These boards are worth the effort as they are keepers.

It's a clear traction tape called Versa-Traction.

Very nice board Hilly! And yes these boards are definitely keepers. I actually wish I spent more time doing the deck pad but I was too excited to get it padded and into the water!

Hi Gotwaves,

I have a PSH 12ft gun, I am 6ft and 110 ish kgs. Weight helps with this board so does the ability to be mobile. You have to move all around the deck from tip to tail if you want this baby to sing for you.

I often take off with 5 toes almost on the nose on this board to get down the face and then have to race back to rip the bottom turn.

Funny thing is when I get on my 9'4 I do the same thing and it works a treat just 3ft of board less to travel.

I like the board really lose so I ride it with FCS PC7s all round in a truster configuration.

This set up allows me to really throw the board around.

Yesterday in shoulder high slop I could easily get the board into big garcefull cutbacks, landed a couple of nice floaters and got 2 spanking nose rides at mach 10 down the line.

Casso at mambo was doing the sweetest slow mo laybacks on his 12er poetry to see ( I'm still working on theCasso layback, works more for me as fall off at this point as I dont bend in the places casso does).

We are off to a secret spot this afternoon so might post some pics later if we get any.

Thanks for the input OG SUP! Hope to see more pics of your secret spot sessions.

One question, how are you running FCS fins on your gun? The gun I bought is setup with 5 Future fin boxes.

Hey Gotwaves, the boards coming into Australia have FCS set-ups. The US boards all come with Future's setups. No particular reason for this other than the fact that Australia is a small market, and FCS dominated and a lot of people already had FCS fins for experimentation. THis may change down the track as Futures fins have proven to be an excellent alternative and a very reliable system.
