My new 14' Laird Pearson Arrow Coast Runner was delivered today. Ordered it last Wed evening from Surftech in Sydney. Can't complain about the service, however BP flashed into my mind when I saw the hole punched right through the bottom of the carton. Very small ding on bottom of board and slight one on a rail. Nothing to worry about though unless you were to be very picky and pedantic.

Specs: 14' x 19 7/8 x 30 5/8 x 12 7/8 x 5 1/4. Slight concave through the nose, then flat rail to rail, rolled v through last 2' of tail. 9 1/4" fin supplied.

Can't wait to get this puppy in the water.

She's a beauty Peter.. You'll have to join us on a river paddle and a down-winder one day soon.

No excuse now DJ, look forward to paddling with you guys. Have to get you to put it to the test on the bay and see what you think.

Gotta say they put the handhold in the right spot and surprisingly it feels a lot lighter than my PSHWAA 11'er.

Beautiful board Pete, looking forward to seeing it in the flesh. Love the very smooth rocker line, pretty sure that thing is going to motor on downwinders with all that waterline length and the thick tail.

That board looks unreal. I have been looking at it and the smaller one on the surftech website for awhile now. It looks even better than on the website. Does it have attachements for hooking bungee cords etc on to it? But Pete, you need to stop spending all your money on toys and buy some furniture for your verandah.

I do like the look of the 10'6" model, obviously for waves not downwinders etc. But yes that board looks great.

Like the keyboard stand as a board stand. I use one too. Much better than grovelling around on the ground and cheap at $30.

Haha, built the deck two weeks ago so not even oiled yet. Moe important things to do like surfing, paddling .

Board comes with 26 stainless steel screws with matching inserts in the deck so lots of options for fastening equipment etc.

Hey Gorgo, got it for nothing so can't beat that. Mind you another one wouldn't go astray with that length board.
