OK, not up to DJ's standard, but this was what it was like just a little further into Westernport yesterday morning. Fun at crunchies. Extra fun at suicide. (Go full screen - you can see the reef under the water.)

Nice. Ive just finished walking the Overland track in Tassie and this footage has me ready to get back into the water. Hope its like your session when I get back to Sydney.

Thanks - it was a lot of fun - and bigger (at suicide) than I expected. And for anyone watching, the real waves start at the 50 second mark.

I have always wanted to walk the overland track. Would you recommend it?

Beautiful glassy water..

Did you paddle out through the gap at Suicide or paddle around from Crunchies?

It was perfect, wasn't it.

I went from crunchies, but I went back through the gap. That was after 2.5 hours so I couldn't be bothered paddling around...

For sure, the track can be a bit tough at times esp the climb up Mt Ossa but well worth it. Tassie is superb for a holiday. Great sights food n wine.
