Well the next installment of the SUPSA FUN DAYS will happen on Sunday the 28th June at Palm Beach Parklands.
Day will start with a "FUN" surf contest at 6.30am. Plan is to run as many heats as necessary with Quarters, Semis and Finals. But remember, it's FUN only and will give all those guys and girls the chance to experience a contest format that perhaps never have had the opportunity.
After that, back over to the normal spot for a cruisey Sunday morning with the BBQ fired up and snags cooking. Activities for the fun day to be advised shortly.

As an add on to the mock comp in the morning, can confirm that as part of the Family Fun Day we will have local industry people there as well for demo's and displaying their services. GREENLINE STAND UP PADDLE SURF, ROAR INDUSTRIES AND CHAPMAN SURFBOARDS will be on hand and we are working on getting a few more along as well.

Unfortunately the guy that I arranged to do the posters etc has had to knuckle down for Year 12 exams and looks like he won't be able to help out anymore so no slick promo poster this month guys.

Reminding everyone next SUPSA Day is next Sunday at Palm Beach Parklands. The man at the bureau reckons we will see sun next weekend as opposed to what we got served up this weekend so all I have to do now is find where I put Huey's number so I can arrange some swell as well. Who is in charge of wind ... need to get hold of him as well and order some light offshores?

Day will start with club round (comp) at 6.30am and the should be all over by 9.00am in time for the Family Fun Day to kick off. BBQ and Drinks as usual and don't forget to come along and check out the latest gear from CHAPMAN SURFBOARDS, ROAR INDUSTRIES and GREENLINE STAND UP PADDLE SURF who will have demo boards available.

Don't forget, we need your ideas for our CHARITY PADDLE FOR DISABLED SURFERS ORG. that will be happening later in the year. These guys and girls do a fantastic job and I would really encourage you to check out their website to get the low down on what they do for Disabled Surfers. We will want to run a successful day that everyone can get involved in so make sure if you have an idea you catch us on Sunday.

And don't forget, a very special handover ceremony will take place this Sunday when DREWSTA and MAC recieve their applications forms, be interesting to see them complete the form whilst in the SUPSA gimp. You are coming aren't you boys?

Happy to wear the gimp suit next SUPSA day only if Secartermuss has washed it. As for the fun comp, awesome idea. But Mac and i have 10'6s, not sure how we will go against 7'15 six fin, channel bottom, reverse v, double pumper with a beefy rear end short SUB's. Huge thanks to Ali Cat for doing the poster this month .. thanks heaps !!!!

Just a quick update for the comp on Sunday, we are going to run three divisions;

(1) Men and Women Combined - Board 10ft and over
(2) Open Women - Any size board
(3) Open Men - Any size board

No professional judges (or sponsored judges for that matter) so everyone will get a chance of surfing and also judging ..... few people on hand to give some pointers on how to score etc so don't stress ok.

Ok back to your spooning and drinking activities.

Depending on how many kiddies are there on Sunday am sure we can organise a bit of a trip around the Arena area, all cool, will add four bags of Chuppa Chups to the shopping list.
