Yeah I'm sure they go alright with the right paddler in these in-shore short estuary races. Actually probably anywhere with a good paddler (!)

You don't know how the red 12'6 elite boards went in the 15km off-shore distance downwind race, or day 2 surf races do you? would be interesting to compare

I was there (not photogenic enough to make the cut in the photos) and there were a couple of crews down from Kerikeri and Whangarei.

Get into it Gizzie!!!

No. 17 Would be Shane Murrell.

Is that you Tow ball.......in the number 17 shirt?
If it is actually Tony I am totally unsurprised to find he is not a winner as I never see him practicing

It wasn't just city folk this year, had a really good spread from all round NZ. Obviously a lot from Auckland, but also contingents from Christchurch, Nelson, Wellington, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Taupo, and as mentioned a big contingent from further north; Kerikeri and Whangarei. 230 entrants in all, ranging from 8 years old to 78 years old. That's a pretty good spread!

Top placed Red Elite 12'6 in the Technical racing was 8th.

Nice

One of the best boards I have purchased and many thanks to the store who provided the information before the purchase
Love it when dealing with people that know what they are selling
