A quick review on the Naish 10’6 ,surfed the board in overhead left hander’s yesterday ( Pt Danger , Torquay ) for the first time , I am a surfer not a long boarder ( now full time SUP surfer ) so I like to turn boards a lot more aggressive then most , On my back hand was very impressed on how the board held into turns , and it was super stable to bring down of the top of waves , one thing that I did notice was the push the board had on bigger waves , unlike some over 10’’ boards it wanted to get on the wave not push me back , plus we had a strong offshore wind , I am 95-100kg and the board has plenty of stability , easy to paddle and turn , found it more stable then some larger boards , If anybody is looking at a new board , and are thinking if going smaller , give it a go you will be surprised , Boards around the 10+ range are a great size for somebody that like’s flat water but wants to eventually get in the surf
Cheers
Brett
