I would assume that it is optional right? not factory installled...
I'm thinking of using the clear verasurf traction... they are just ramping up their production and are now starting to get into surfshops... I spoke with the owner Jason and I should be ordering some soon.... you have to contact them directly though, their ordering page isn't quite setup yet...

For the record I've never seen it nor tried this product, but judging from the video it would sure be practical for a Naish Board since it wouldn't "cover" the wood veneer...
Also the video shows a factory spray on application. They no longer offer that service and only sell the clear peel 'n' stick version (amoungst others).... once again haven't seen it in person, but looks pretty badass if it works as advertised.... check it out...
