I'm a beginner and want a SUP for primarily flat water; lakes, rivers, bay, harbor (Cape Cod), and to follow my wife around in her kayak. I will venture possibly to try small waves. I have never surfed. So that's what I'll use it for.
I'm 5'10" and weight 180 lbs.
I borrowed a friends Mana 10 and loved it though I think I could be better served by a longer board for flat water.
I know I've got to demo this spring once I get off my skis (winter here) and I'm thinking of:
- naish 11 4
- naish 10 10
- starboard 11 2
- starboard 10 5
Comments and Suggs really appreciated for this cape cod newbie!

Easy decision.. I reckon the 10'10" Nalu for sure.

The 11'4 looks really pretty......it is longer (don't they say demo) and performs well on flat water
The 10'10 if you primarily surfing for sure but the 11'4 is long and streamlined....a classic well designed longboard shape that has charm and excellent surfability if you should by chance paddle into some surf

11'4" hands down!!! I've owned 2 of them. They surf unreal off the tail and nose ride great. they also paddle just fine on flat water. Its the one board I can see myself picking up once again in the future. I even like it better than the 10'6 that everyone else thinks is the best longboard SUP on the market.
