Hi all. I just purchased my first SUP...a Naish Nalu 10'10" GT and it has holes for deck rigging. I wanted to know the best rigging for my board, since the holes are already there. Thanks for all of the great expertise on this board!!

Congrats on the Naish 10'10".. It's an awesome board.. and welcome to the Breeze..

The holes are for putting some bungee cord on so you can carry some gear on your board.

I would recomend sticking EZ plugs over the holes instead of screwing into the board and using raised up mounts that can be dangerous if you fall onto them.

If you ever paddle on your knees in the surf and when paddling into whitewater you could slide forward and take a chunk of skin off your knees if you happen to hit them.

The EZ plugs are cheaper.. and they are smooth and without any edges.. Here's some pictures of my friends 10'10".. He's since taken his mounts off and thinking about using the EZ plugs instead.

Have you already bought the Naish mounting system?

Thanks for the recommendation. No...I haven't purchased anything yet, but thought it might be better to use the holes since they are there. When I saw those raised screws it made me nervous though, so appreciate that you too aren't a fan. Id prefer to go low profile. Looks like EZ will be right for me.
