Hi Guys

We have just purchased a new Mana 10foot GT board and have found the area around the breather hole/screw has problems.

it appears that the clear coat and layer of wood vinear is comming off.

has anyone else had these problems and if so what was done about it.

I am not happy spending nearly $2000 on what i believed was a quality board to find after two weeks it is faulty.

Maybe the cheap Chinese board may have been better.

Cheers

Go and talk to the store you purchased it from
Give them a chance to get it sorted

I'm sure Naish or the retailer wouldn't be happy either so go see the guys or gals you bought it from and have a chat.
Sam.

Bummer..

I've had a couple of Naish boards including a 10' Mana GT and I've not seen that before.. What did the shop say?.. What did Naish Australia say?

These boards are shipped in and out to the shops all sealed up in a big box so there is no way for Naish to check or even know about it till someone tells them.

The shop should have checked and noticed it when they unpacked it and before it got to you if it was there originally or if its happened since you recieved it it's up to you to let them know..

The board looked fine when we purchased it so can't blame the store for that.

it has been in the water about 6 times in the past couple of weeks. when i cleaned it last time i used it i noticed the problem.

i have been onto the store first thing Monday and still waiting for some feedback as to what Naish are prepared to do.

From first hand experience with two boards only last month (not the same issue as yours), Naish will work to resolve the problem. However for me, it was the store that did all the work in making that happen as that is where the relationship is. The two go hand in hand...

Ive had my Naish board for 3 years now and am surprised at how tough it is. It's been banged and bashed and has held up exceptionally well so my thinking is once your board is sorted (or replaced) you'll be happy with your choise of the Naish brand.

I know a few other Naish owners too and they agree that their boards are tough as nails too!

Good luck

They might be "tough as nails" but they are "yellow".
