I think if you want to catch her you'll need a paddle with a bigger blade.

The Kialoa Nalu would be my first choice followed by the Werner.

I've heard that the Quick Blade Peahi is a great downwind paddle..It has a huge blade face at 9"x21" long..

its fathers day soon,but it might be a bit much to ask for a Glide.Talking of racing when are we going to see some organized sup events.

oh i forgot to mention if you are interested in a glide make sure you get it on order as soon as you can as i am sure the first shipment will be sold out well before they get here.

Hi Scotty...I forgot about the Kialoa Kole..It would be a very good paddle for down winding and racing..or a big guy that likes power.

I guess I'm a little put off by the table tennis bat shape blade but I'm sure it would be good..I might have to invest in one one day so I can test it out.

I was down at SHQ today checking one out..It sure looks like a grunty paddle..plus it's got that great springy shaft.

I also think as long a shaft as you can use is the go.

So does the Glide come with a mast insert

I just found out that the new Naish Glide 'will' have a mast base insert.

Even if not used for windsurfing it's a good spot to mount a drink bottle holder. (I reckon)
