Hi i have tried the mana 10, 32 inch wide and found it a nice stable board for someone new to the sport and around 90kg. ended up buying starboard 10 however...i think both are great.
Of course you're not going to win any races on flat water but the Manas are still perfectly fine for a casual paddle on rivers, lakes and flat water days on the ocean. They cruise quite well without too much yawing.
Thanks, Where i will be surfing is a area good for flat water use or learning to paddle...
Only reason i put that in, I am sure the more surf type of the huku or how erver its spelt is good for larger surf and small surfers.
So im pretty happy to get on the mana 9'5 as a first board for surfing and at 85/90kgs i guess i will not be going smaller anythime soon.
From what naish mentions, Its telling me the mana is a surfboard but more user friendly vs the other. More a good all round surfboard for the mid range weight 90kg
Just go with the Mana.. It may look wide out of the water but once you're out on the water you'll be glad it's 31" wide and it wont feel so big once on a wave.
