We are planning a trip to Nambucca and wonder if there are any choice SUP spots there. Scotts head is an option but looks to get crowded. The river mouth looks possible but the rip might make it uncomfortable. Any other suggestions? Thanks

The river mouth is the go elbeau. I have been up there quite abit and there is no-one ever surfing it. Even if the tide does get abit strong you can always paddle over to the Scotts Head side and find a nice beachy. Last time I was up there I was catching waves all the way into the little beach opposite the tavern.
