The first of both the Womens 14' and 18' race model Penetrators are well and truly under construction. The womens 14' is a scaled down version of the 18'. At just 26" wide and 4 1/2" thick this board has been designed with a girls lighter frame in mind while still keeping all the same speedy hull features of it's larger brothers. The first of these boards will be made more along cruising lines, the use of exotic lightweight materials being kept to a minimum. This will help get the price right down for those looking to get a start in the sport although for the race minded these boards can be built to race specs. A guys 14' will be out shortly as well which will be basically the same as the above just bulked out more and slightly wider, this too will be available in both a cheaper, cruise model, as well as the race version. The first of the 18's is a full race version and is having its' carbon frame layed up at the moment. It will be paddle tested on completion to sort out the positioning for the steering system control peddle and looks super fast. All these models are kind of like new generation Penetrators after undergoing their 3rd major facelift since conception. With the way race rules appear to be going for stand-up paddle it does indeed look as if our 16' will be going the way of the dinosaur. The 14' our entry level board will fit happily under the limit required to race while being a handy effective alternative to the larger more expensive equipment. While the 16' will still be available it's been moved to the backseat by the brand new 18'9" Penetrator 572 which will be our flag-ship. The 572 features the sleek 3rd generation hull shape which when stretched to this length has become rocket-like, combined with our proven carbon frame and our newly developed steering system. I will post photos of both these creations in the coming few days. Cheers, Stuey

Hey Stuey, Sounds exciting, looking forward to the photos. Where will these new beasts be made and any idea of a price here in Australia and Victoria?

Dave Stuey said there will be a bargain priced 16'er for under two grand..That sounds like what you're after.

I'm thinking about doing a down-winder tomorrow in the predicted 30+ knot Northerly..Interested?..Maybe St Kilda to Rickets?

Hello from across the pond

Have been looking at your posts and intereseted in the penetrator and if Laguna Bay has looked into the frieght costs to ship Penetrators over to continental United States?(Fortunately I live close to LA harbor) The prices you are quoting for cost is that Australian dollars?

The SUP boards I'm looking at are the F-16, F-18 and the Penetrator. I'd be interested in the 16' or the big 572.

Have a website where we can see the new SUPs?
