Hi all , with my birthday coming up, looking at getting a new paddle and some fins for my All Wave..

Paddle - really like the kenalu just dont know which one and what shaft to go for 100/90

its going to be my flatwater/DW paddle i can currently do 3-4kms at about 80-90% paddle rate and i get an average about 7-8kms on my 12'6 on the flatwater.

looking at either the elite or the new hooloa, haven't demo'd any as every demo i have been to no one brings a range of paddles to try, just boards.

Fins - also going to upgrade from the standard fins on my 9'6 2013 all wave (i have used the search function but...)

tossing up between the Shapers carbon stealth 6" performance fins (6" center 4.6" sides)

or the Shapers carbon stealth S9 5.25"

any help/advice appreciated

Where is Oz are you?
You should be able to get hold of a Ke Nalu demo through any of the retailers listed on the Ke Nalu Australia website.
The new Ho'oloa blade is awesome for flatwater / DW
The 100 flex shaft is super stiff and great if you like direct contact with your blade but you've got to be fit and strong to handle it.
The 90 flex has been the most popular shaft but the xTuf(S) seems to be catching up in the popularity stakes.

I use a thruster set of Shapers carbon stealth S9's in my 8'0" and love 'em......heaps of drive!

I am by no means a fin expert, but I replaced the stock fins on my JP 8' with shapers S9 and am super happy!
