Must apologise pics to come:

Took delivery of my new 10'0 Laguna Bay sup bout 2 wks ago and am absolutely stoked with it. The thing that impresses me most (apart from it being cheaper than the generic off the shelf imports) is the service that I got from Tully and the crew at noosa surf works.
A couple of months ago my partner and I went up to noosa and tully agreed to meet us at the rivermouth with a range of about 6 boards and we tried them all. I settled on a 10.6 (even though tully said I could go a bit smaller) that was all but finished in the factory and paid my bucks. After about a month I kinda felt that Yeah Yeah tully had been right and I rang him for a 10.0. I just simply told him I wanted 10ft and he knew how I surfed and what I wanted from the board as I had surfed with him a month or so earlier so there was no further discussion about dimensions or anything - I just left it to the experts. WOW - didn't think I would ever go as low as 10.0 but I have never had so much fun on such a forgiving board. Its a shortboard - its a mal - its a sup - man its whatever you want it to be !!! Amazing board - Amazing service - It really makes a difference to be dealing with the man whos making your fun for you. And the other big thing I have learnt out of this is that generic dimensions really mean squat - the board is for YOU - not the average person - don't ever sell yourself short and consider yourself the average supper.

LOL - Mine is pretty simple yellow with a bit of an orange tint bleed through the middle - looks like a nice clean longboard as do most of the latest sups I have seen out of the laguna factory of late. The other reason I think that some of the out of this world laguna bay colours of old have toned is that I would imagine all those resin tints and stuff cost big bucks and time and hell, most of us are gunna cover half the board in rubber hey. Have actually seen a couple of Lagunas on the goldy of late and they are plain white and look really nice - I know it's nice to personalise it a bit but at the end of the day its what it does and not how it looks hey.

Think they are around $1800 gripped/carry handle/colour/

Be worth giving Tully a call at Noosa Surf Works and see what they can do. Mate they are worth every single cent. And no b/s we have ordered an 11 fter so my wife can take the dog paddling and it'll be a great allrounder for teaching friends and family to sup as well.

As far as time goes, I'm pretty sure it is about a month but don't quote me on that. Give Tully a call and he'll tell you everything you need to know.

Maybe i'm wrong ,and I don't know the range of Laguna bay boards on offer, but they don't seem to be going down the blown up shortboard track but going for the hi-po longboard style .

Took delivery of my laguna bay 8"6 two weeks ago, it is simply too good, I have ridden it in 2ft slop, 3ft off shore, and last week rode 4-5 ft queenslciff. The board paddles in well, And rides like a short board. Good to hear another positive story about LB, good service is hard to find!

Hey mate sorry to take so long to get back to you. this particular board for me is approx; 10 x 29 1/2 x 4 1/4. When I first spoke with the laguna bay guys i let them know I had some lower back problems and that as such I wanted a very stable and incredibly forgiving board that lost absolutely nothing in performance in flatwater or surf. It is important to me to not be constantly climbing back on the board after silly little offs (because I just cant ) that a skinny ar##ed board would have me doing and the really big thing I have found with this board is that it requires so little input to paddle/turn/cutback/trim/noseride etc that it has without doubt taken at least half the strain off my lower back that any other sup I have ever ridden has done. I am confident now in being able to do twice as much with half the effort and I am sure my supping will improve so much quicker for it.
