Maybe.. but I do like the way Naish are now putting the handles in the center now so you're not standing on it.

Being in the center also makes it easier to swap arms on those long hikes down and up hills to those secluded spots.

Dependng on whether you're s goofy or a natural, offset is good or bad.
For one it's out of the way, for the other you are standing on it more often.

Pete I suggested putting the handles on the bottom, totally out of the way, but they didn't like that idea. Said it would interfere with hydrodynamics

2013 Allwaves have had leaking problems with their big comfy handle. I had loud sloshing in mine.
A friend just heard sloshing in his NSP Coco Matt handle yesterday.

It will be interesting to see if Naish has the same problem. Hopefully not.

Could be the boards flex, but the big comfy handles don't.

I like the big comfy handle... I hope they figure it out.

I found this with a Coreban demo board that had the very deep handle. A bit disconcerting when you first hear it, I had that sinking feeling that I'd somehow damaged the board but it was just water in the handle...it held a surprising amount of water in there and it didn't want to drain out fully even when I inverted the board (that said, it had the occasional tendency to drain out on me when I was loading it onto the car )...but that's all it was, not like water was getting into the board as such. I doubt you'd hear sloshing if water was in the foam(?).
