Hey crew,

Today, I was lucky enough to try out the new Oxbow 9'6" high performance SUP - the first production one in Australia. I'll write a full review soon but in the meantime I'll let you know, this is a little shredder. Great looks and awesome performance - shame I had to give it back.

The surf was only small and closing out but I managed to get a couple of OK turns in.

Here's some sucker-cam shots of a few of my waves:

and a couple of photos:

Brooko - It's 9'6" x 28.5" x 4.25" - 129 litres. It rides very similarly to the Naish. Read my review (coming soon) for more detail and then you'll be able to make your own comparison.

Greenroom - Thanks mate. Yeah, I love that Donnie song - kinda 70's groove.

DJ - Thanks and my pleasure. I might be able to make it to the Mambo, at least for a few of the days.

I think that's your best sucker cam so far casso - love em. Good looking board - looks like a regular surfboard. I reckon it's got your name written on it.

Thanks Oliver. Yeah, I was pretty happy with how that one turned out - considering the poor surf conditions. I think there might be a slight chance one of next shipment will have my name on it - it's gunna hurt the bank account though. A two SUP quiver ... ouch.

I saw a cheap import from China today.

It was 9'3 and looked close shape to that with a diamond tail.

China, Thailand, Vietnam or where ever, if it rides like the Naish, its pretty good.

That little wipeout at at 1:22 looks excellent with the board spiralling away.
