Hi guys and Gals

Who knows where I can pick up a new paddle handle for my kialoa methane. I bought it with my board 2nd hand from a giant... it currently feels like I’m rowing a Viking ship out there!!
After trying to remove and move the existing one with boiling water and my massive forearms..... I decided that DJ's suggestion to get a new ne and replace it would save my sanity.

However where do I get them? Have been looking at websites in vain..... Help please.

happy paddles

I'm sure any Kialoa dealer can get one in for you or contact Sam Williams from Kialoa Australia on 0415 769 218 and I'm sure she could send you one in the mail.

Hey Monkeydog, yes contact Kialoa if you need an 'inny' - where the shaft goes in handle.

If you need an 'outy' where the handle goes into the shaft, drop me a PM as I have Quickblade handles as spares. It could also be descibed as a 'male' handle - but I dont want to go there!

You may also need to match up shaft diameters - some shafts (Kialoa and Kiakaha) are tapered and narrower at the top. Drop me a PM and I can help you out.

or you just cut your sahft just below the handle and get some bit to put on your drill to get rid of the leftover of the shaft inside the handle.
Then you just glue the shaft at the right size into the handle
I have done it on 2 paddles
