Picked up a Balin board cover today and was impressed by it so being a new product[I think] will post it up.It was around the 180 dollar mark.
This cover is 10ft but fits my 9'4" board well with only a small space at the end and the board doesn't seem to move around much when carrying.

It has three handles along top and one almost half way up the middle which pulls the weight of the board well up into the armpit.

The front of the cover has two velcro hooks to attach the paddle.

The stash pocket for the strap is closed by velcro so you can easily stuff it in there without taking it off when you tie the board on top of the car.

The zipper opens right up to the nose so easy to get the board out quick when the surfs pumping. It has a pocket inside for fins, keys, wax or whatever.

The rear has another zippered section which opens up extra room if your running larger fins or need a bit more space.

will see how it goes with weekly use over time,
Cheers,
Camo.

Excellent Cam.. Thanks for posting the pics.

The guys at Balin showed me one the other day and I was so impressed I ordered custom one for my new 9' SnowBoard..

They rang today and said it's ready to pick up already.. Wow!

When I went down to see them I was going to get them to make me the ultimate SUP cover and I had a list of what I thought were unique design features.

When I saw their standard cover I was able to tick off everything on my list.

I was very surprised to see that mid mounted side handle (it was on my list) .. What a great idea.

The full side two end zip and fin pouch.. Paddle straps etc.. I would give them 10 out of 10.. I will pick mine up on Monday.. I'll post a pic.

BTW.. SHQ have them in stock.. Where did you buy yours Cam?

FCS pretty similar. Good to see quality covers coming onto the market. Area where paddle blade fits in is velcroed so nice fit for any width blade. Got mine from SHQ - $180-

As far as Balin go that's why they offer us custom orders... and that's why I ordered one.. (my new board has a pulled in nose shape).

Here is the shape of my board and it fits O.K for general day use ,doesn't move around, but I guess if you were traveling more rugged it may need something stuffed either side of the nose,

Ocean and Earth also make a great SUP 5mm cover.
High quality it opens like a sandwich,so user friendly.
