Too good.

Listened about the video on the Paddlewoo podcast, which I recommend. They joined for some days Zane Schweitzer, Mo Freitas, Giorgio Gomez, etc ... the best from the best for some days in Costa Rica, and they filmed tons of waves from these "monsters".

Can't wait to watch the film

This is not what "paddle surfing is"
This is what 0.1% of "paddle surfing is"

But it's a pretty sweet 0.1% to watch!

Yup. I really think this an issue with the videomakers rather than the riders themselves: the cutting on this trailer seems to definitively focus on sliding, speed-killing dishpanning, but the riders definitively are worth much more... do they think that's what the viewing public wants to see?

Hope they do justice to the riders in the final cut...

I saw a guy pick out practically wave of the morning at the alley on a sup, on his backhand, get barrelled right through pretty much the entire inside section.

he had to keep calling guys off. don't think anyone ever thought he was going to do that little lone make it.

now that was special

5 slides or dishpanning out of at least 19 different wave rides. Not many & maybe less than you would expect if it were a WSL film.

agree with colas and husq - I'd much prefer to see them going fast and on-rail, and the whole wave including takeoff rather than the money-shot single move. I'm a bit ho-hum watching the young blokes trying to mimic shortboard moves on a 7'4"x26"x3.8 when they should be doing it on a 5'10x19"x2.5".....
