Having just trimmed my new paddle to what I hope will be the right height, how do I fix the t - piece to the tube & get it watertight?

Will silicone be firm enough? Will Araldite be water tight?

Can't decide whether the curved part of the handle feels better facing fore or aft.
Hoping to benefit from others experience.

Curved part against your hand and Araldite is fine..

This may help.. www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Stand-Up-Paddle/SUP/SUP-paddle-cut/?SearchTerms=cutting,a,carbon,paddle
