It's around the Collaroy/Long Reef area - it might be Brownwater. I've met that guy in the photo but I can't remember his name. He surfs Long Reef a fair bit, I think. Yes, he uses a timber paddle - not sure which brand - might even be home made.

Mark Onorati (the photographer) is a good friend of mine and he's pretty keen to get some good shots of SUPing. I might try and organise a shoot with him on a good day with a small crew of local rippers. He is an awesome photographer and works on all kinds of different/unusual perspectives.

Does anyone have a copy of the picture i would love to see it.
