Hey DJ, all the boards in the 2015 and forward collection have some input from Gerry Lopez. The Hokua LE's have been an evolution since the 2014 design, pushing the limits to result in a board like what Noa is riding, which is built off the actual production file (just to his personal volume scaled). When you see how well that board hold rail, it's no wonder the Hokua LE's are the market leaders in Pro Performance Shortboards.
The new Hokua GTW's are based off Gerry Lopez' rocker line and bottom shapes. You will notice they look different to any Hokua GT's previous, but still fit into the same place in the range.
One of the greatest things with Naish, is the entire team do R&D, Including staff. Everyone's input is taken on board, and with the high caliber of riders at Naish, this delivers an exceptional product.
