One of the Noosa papers had an article written about how dangerous sups are na dthat they should be banned from the points
My sister read it but couldnt find where it was
anyone else see it

Hey KBM,

I saw it and then did a little investigating, got some details from the local hospitals and they have no record of a kid being treated for a stand up paddle board injury and the editor for the Journal won't call me back to discuss why the ran a story that would be a blatant Stand up paddle bashed. Time will tell if they call me back. It is funny that they have just sponsored and were the media partner for the Noosa festival where 110 of the competitors were stand up paddlers....... not good business sense if you ask me.

If its real and not legend, then the author probably rides a small board, and the person is a cranky frustrated unit that has not been able to catch many waves while others on larger craft have been smokin.

aw maybe the points should be SUB ONLY ??? shortboarders only get in the way,yeh how good would that be , Minimise the snakes and drop in kooks.
